Vision sensors
In case of complex applications where the position or presence of the weld or welded elements is playing a critical role in the process , we would like to recommend the usage of configurable vision sensors which are able to “track” up to five different features/objects in the scanned area.
Setup and configuration do not require any programming knowledge and are done via the standard PC using the special configuration software. After configuration, the sensor works in automatic mode without the PC.
The presented solution is especially useful in automated production processes where the access to welded parts is difficult. Implementation of such vision system on your production line will help you to detect the process failures on time, reduce the manual checking procedures and finally prevent the faulty elements to be shipped to customers.
